Aww lol! We always love tax time though even though a lot goes towards bills because we always get behind during holidays and my sons birthday.

i'm excited, were gonna be using some of it for a down payment on a car and the rest clothes and stuff for the kids, DH and me  

Girl yes tax time feels like Christmas to me! This year new furniture and I really want an elliptical machine!

I was exited until we didnt qualify for EIC this year.

Yeah, that happens here, too. We FINALLY got caught up on bills (we weren't late, but literally going from pay check to pay check) from October-December. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and my birthday kiiiiilled us  


SO wants to take a little vacation, and put away some of his return for it. But I don't see that happening. He and I combined will get back a little less than $2k. And mine will be gone.. so more like $1k is left, lol.

I'm scared to buy one and have it just fall apart again. We also bought two matching lamps that were metal and kinda vintage looking, and one night while we were home, one of them just started smoking and making spark noises... I am so glad we were home, for it probably would have burned down our damn house!!

This year I'm paying off a few bills. Pick up a used car. Buying a decent camera, finally getting my tattoo done

Yep   Last year we just drove to Kansas City (About 3 hours away) & stayed at great wolf lodge with the kiddos, so this year we're leaving them behind and going on an adult vacation  

I'm always excited for tax time, but we definately don't get nearly as much as you all do! I'm hoping we get at least $1000 this year so I can buy some new tires for the car. And get some contacts or glasses and maybe even a haircut.

Oh damn! That isn't good at all. And yeah definitely a good thing you were home! Somehow that reminded me about something that happened a couple of months ago...Me and the kids were in the living room and SO was kneeling in the doorway of the kitchen and living room petting the dog and all of a sudden the light cover in the kitchen fell and smashed to the floor! Scared the smurf out of us. Thankfully it happened when no one was underneath it...usually the kids are in the kitchen with me playing on the floor right where it dropped
