I don't get why guys lie about stupid smurf.

SO has been buying packs of ciggs, after I asked him if he was, hiding them in his car making me buy the packs and split them. so he's been smoking the pack I bought for "us" (because we're trying to cut down), smoke mine, then smoke his.

wtf?? I just wasted $$ on 4 packs in the last few days so we can split them, and then he smokes mine and then has all of his for himself.

selfish. lol

I told him I don't even care if he wants to buy packs and not try to cut down anymore, but dude.....just smurfing tell me that so I stop wasting my money on pack after pack because you're smoking all of mine when you have your own!

then when I confront him, he flips, lies even more, and then throws them at me and calls em a "smurfing bitch."

I don't get it. You lied over the DUMBEST thing ever! I don't even care so there was no reason to lie in the first place. and I wasn't even mean when I confronted you, I just asked why are there 5 (just about full) packs of ciggs hidden in the compartment in your trunk? Cheap ass!

I'm so tired of him and his shannasmurfns every time he is in the wrong or I confront him on something. I HATE being lied to over dumb smurf!

I always say that if DH lies over small smurf, how am I going to believe he's not going to lie about the big smurf?

eh I don't believe that smurf. It was his idea to cut back, and I figured why not try too. It's so childish and selfish. I've been dealing with this smurf for over 3 years now. I'm tired of it.

I took all of the ones I found in his car. I left him 2 out of just about 5 full or half full packs. payback for all the $$ i spent.

This is a true statement right here. My husband did lie about petty smurf like chew when I got pregnant with the twins. I quit smoking and the deal was he quit chewing. It took him a while to do it. He would pull cash and not put it on his debit card so I didn't see the excess gas station charges and then on top of that, he wouldn't do it at home. He would do it at work and at his duty station (he was USFS FIRE and stationed 103 miles from the house). When he would come home on the weekends I could tell because his back would be broke out and he wouldn't be smart enough to wash his face or brush his teeth before walking in the door. Eventually he quit but to quit the first go was hard. We quit over 5 years ago. We both picked it back up this past summer for a brief time and quit again because it was stupid. However, even I would lie about smoking while my husband was gone because it was shameful. I am better than that and I know it.

Logan's mommy, it sounds like there are some other issues going on because everything you posted today is a rant about what others are doing and how pissed it makes you. Are you stressed about something and anytime a gnat farts it just pisses you off more than normal?

guys don't lie just because, they do it so they don't want to upset or hurt the ones they love and/or care about. He probably lied about this because he knew you would get upset like you are and was trying to avoid it. I'm not taking his side because of the fact he lied to you, but you need to see his side also instead of just jumping to conclusions... just like he needs to see your side on why it upset you so much...

^^ my EXACT point of this rant. he knows if he bought packs it wouldn't upset me or hurt me. I've told him that. I do not care, just DON'T lie to me. Don't do it. plain and simple. don't.

uh, not really lol. nothing usually gets me angry. but when it comes to smoking around my kids toys, and my SO lying to me and throwing smurf at me and calling me a smurfing bitch......yea - THAT pisses me off.

I just needed to vent because no one in my house thinks the smoking thing was really wrong and he shouldn't have done it. and I have no one else to vent to about SO other than here! sorry ladies! hehe.
