baby shower theme ideas ? help.

im due April 18th. I'll be having my bay shower in march.. I'm really looking forward to it. But i have no clue what the theme should be.. My girlfriends from college will be doing the baby shower for me.. All they asked was for me to think of a theme I would like.. But I don't know what I want..lol. Any mommies had a baby shower recently ?? i need ideas. I would love for you to throw some ideas my way..I want it to be creative...So Every post will be appreciated.. Thanks

Btw. Our LO's room is a animal circus theme.. but i would like to do something different for his shower...

My host took the theme of my nursery and used that as the theme of my shower. I did a pink and brown circle and dot theme for my twins. It worked out because I took some of the photo frames she bought as decorations for the party and used them in the nursery. Just a thought!

That's what my mom said.. The babies room is a animal/circus theme. But i wanted to do something different..

I'm having a little boy in April & my shower is also in March!   I chose MUSTACHES! Lol.

Well, then I don't know what to tell you. The theme of the nursery as the theme of the shower is pretty much a standard as to my knowledge. My shower was in AZ. I have been to showers in CA and here in MT. We have all done them the same everywhere.

If you don't have an idea as to what theme you want, then maybe the animals/circus might be your best bet. Plus, when your guests get the invite, they typically go off the theme of the invite as a "special" gift and they don't always buy off your registry.
