Do people from colorado have accents. I don't think we do but I've lived here all mr life :p

Well, I'm from Jersey and New York. I don't talk like someone from Staten Island and I don't talk like the losers on Jersey Shore.

I say cawfee, tawk, etc. I tend to add w's where they aren't needed, I guess.

SO.... apparently my accent gets on people nerves where I live now. Womp womp.

I have a typical New York accent. Whenever I go anywhere everyone hates me on the spot because they can tell I'm from the city.

I'm sure it will be the latter. Pre-school skizes aren't too sharp.  

Southern. Not necessarily mild ones, mild ones are actually nice. Especially on men. But I hate that sticky-sweet-bless-your-heart Southern Belle accent on women, and on men it makes them sound permanently drunk or like they've been hit over the head with a 2x4 one too many times.

I'm ashamed to say I've heard perfect strangers talk to me for the very first time, and if that sticky sweet Southern accent comes out of their mouths, I immediately take a mental step back. Usually I get past it if they are indeed a nice person, but it's this instant judgment. Not proud of it, just being real.

Unsurprisingly, I have a very nasty pack of relatives and now in-laws with exactly this kind of accent and that's probably where my dislike of it comes from.
