Screw you flu shot!

I got DS his flu shot for the first time a week ago today. Well since then he has had a runny nose, cough, fever, and 2 days ago he started throwing up. Pretty much he has the flu. He doesnt seem to have a bad case of it, but enough where he passed it on to mommy. I feel like I am dying. I have only been up for 2 hours, and have thrown up 3 times. I cant keep anything down at all. Every time the baby moves, I feel like I am going to puke. My stomache hurts, and I feel like I need to throw up more, but there is just nothing in my system to throw up. I dont want to even try to eat or drink anything. At the same time, I know I have to get some food and drink to the baby or I am going to get more sick. I really dont want to end up in L&D for dehydration. Any suggestions of things I should try? I have tried 7up, water, and bananas... Ugh someone please help me  

The flu shot did not give him the flu. If anything he didnt get the shot soon enough and was exposed to the virus before the shot had time to be effective.

You know the flu shot doesn't really give you the flu, right?

He didnt get the flu from the shot. It can definitely give you symtoms like the flu though. You shouldve done your research

gingerale but little sips at a time and salt cracker little bits dont eat or drink a lot at a time just take sips at little bits every 5 mins

Yeah... you can have sort of a reaction to the shot, but you would not actually get the flu from it. Had to have caught the bug from something else.

Try crackers and small sips of water. Popcicles are good too.

Although when my daughter got the flu this year she wouldnt even eat a popcicle
