Uh what was that?!

Last night I was laying in bed on my back( I know, I'm bad) and suddenly something that felt like a little snake slithered across the inside of my stomach down below my belly button. I've heard of "flutters" but was this the baby?! I'm 15 weeks.

Maybe baby moving a limb?

Sounds like baby!! Laying on your back helps you feel them more early on.

I wasn't expecting to feel it for several more weeks. So cool!

I've been hearing some weird new shiz on my doppler lately, it sounds like the baby is playing smurfing jump rope with the umbilical chord LOL So I totally understand ^.^ Very possible it was the baby or just some really weird gas ;)

I think my doppler I bought was junk. I can usually only hear my bowels moving or my own heartbeat. Or the baby just hides from me. lol

I am almost 17 weeks, I can sometimes find him but I am overweight and I have a tilted uterus so it's hard for even the doctor to find his heartbeat with a doppler   But I can find him kicking and swirling around in there easily. It takes 20 minutes to find or even a half hour for some people! So it may not be junk, just hard to find   Especially at 15 weeks, I didn't even find it for sure until last week at home   What kind did you get?

I have the Sonoline B. I'm hoping its still just too little. It just makes me even more nervous when I sit there for 30 minutes and still can't find it. But I know my little $50 doppler doesn't compare to my Dr's, so when he finds it tomorrow I will feel a lot better.

I didn't feel either of mine until closer to 20 weeks, so I'm jealous!

That's the one I have. It works great compared to some of the others out there lol I went in to see the doctor two weeks ago and it took TWO attempts one by the nurse and then by the doctor, over 30 minutes total lol

I searched forever and at my 11 week appt the doctor just plopped the probe on my stomach and found it in less than 2 minutes. Lucky.
Tomorrows the 15 week appt, so hopefully it will be just as easy.
