Amazing!!!

I've seen people's posts about their experience with Head Start being bad or just Meh. I just wanted to share how FREAKING awesome My son's Head Start is.


My son has unknown issues and speech problems. When I told his teacher that he had an upcoming appointment with a psychologist sheoffered to start a daily log in a notebook and send it home everyday so the doctor would know more and for me to tell her how he is out of school. These logs are pretty detailed.  

I updated her telling her they want to see him every Wednesday at 2:00 so I'dhave to get him out early. She said that wouldn't be a problem at all. She requested psychologist and psychiatrist write in his log too so all of us can be on the same page and do the same things with him.

Ah! I love teacher!!!

That's great   It's so good to see teachers that actually care about their students!

ETA- that sounded like I was teacher bashing but I totally wasn't. You know I'm not since, I'm studying to be a teacher myself lol
