Labor? Why am I so confused.

So Ill officially be 40 weeks tomorrow and around 9:30 last night i started having contractions like the tightening lower belly and pain I was exhausted from work I just wanted to sleep and managed to fall asleep figured id wake up. I did throughout the night with pains in my back and cramping. but was able to fall back asleep.

Well this morning for about 2 hours now it feels like im going to start my period like the burning cramps only in my lower belly you wanna run to the bathroom because you feel like your going have a gush of blood feeling. I have bad periods and cramps so this feels normal for me you could say. I can't really time them either because it just seems to stay constant. Ahhhhh you would think being my second I would know if this was contractions or not.

The best way to tell is to start timing your pains! If they are regular, it is probably labor.

Im going to try its just hard to tell when they fade cuz they don't completely but they do feel intense. I was hoping id lose my plug or something more before I go down but I have a 45 min drive so im afraid to wait to long.

They are so confusing to try and keep track of! I've been having the same issue, it's so annoying because they do seem to be constant.
