Quoting I♡C.:" I do know the new Graco My Size/Size4Me/HeadWise 70 is a good seat. It doesn't convert to a backless ... [snip!] ... got the tallest shell of any seat so Colt could even rear face in it for quite a while longer if you are still rear facing him."

Thanks for the input! I really feel like I'm probably not going to want to use a 5 pt harness for 4 more years. I know it's the safest but I just can't see myself dealing with it for that long. He's not rfing anymore. It is next to impossible to rf his safety 1st in my mini cooper   We WILL have a more family friendly car by the time we have another kid, lol.

Quoting Jillian Lindsey:" DD saftey first has the 5point to 50lbs then the high back until 80lbs i think once shes 80lbs she will be done with a seat so she wont need the backless"

Thanks! That graco nautilus goes up to 100 lbs! I bet he won't reach 100 lbs till close to high school, lol, he's little like his mom and dad.

Walmart has the nautilus on sale for $129 right now. My oldest who turns five in six days is on one we love it . Were getting another for our three year old here in a few months . Also don't always go by weight its the height on car seats that's kids reach before weight. You can measure your kid by placing them on the floor and measuring from the butt to there shoulder. I believe the Nautilus goes to 18 inches harnessed. My almost five year old has another year at least out of hers since shes almost 16 inches .
