So my husband and I are going out of town on the 7th for our anniversary we are just spending the day away and having someone babysit our son. Would it be a stupid idea to take his current car seat into Babies-R-Us to get a new one. Or should I just leave it with the baby-sitter just in case something happens. The town we are going to is an hour and half away. We won't get a chance to go before the sale ends on the 10th to get a new one with our son.
Part of me wants to take it, but i'm worried that the sitter might need it. And I figured it up and it's only like a $30.00 savings on the new car seat I have picked out.

I would get the new car seat... I think the sitter will be fine without it...
