Mood swings?

I know this will sound stupid, but can a baby have mood swings? Like horrible mood swings? My SIL calls DD bipolar baby because one minute she'll be laying there smiling/laughing at you and then out of no where she'll start screaming/crying.

ummm that is normal baby behavior. Audrianna has been throwing a hissy fit for 10 minutes now over a Banana.

That's normal. DD is usually a really good and content baby but at times she'll just start crying for no reason, it only lasts a couple of minutes but it happens.

Well then Kenneth is weird because he only cried if he was hungry or had a dirty diaper. He was soooo laid back and easy.

Lol DD will NOT go to anyone older, like DH's grandma or mom. Last night she was laughing and smiling and then DH woke up and start playing with her and was tickling her and then all of a sudden she started yelling/clawing at him and trying to bite/gum his face lmao.

One minute DS will be playing happily next minute he is throwing himself on the floor screaming just because he can not get his toy to move on the rug. Isn't this normal? My little man will get frustrated throughout the day and will kick off, he used to kick off if he did not want to do things like putting his coat on but in the last few weeks he has realised that I am in charge of him instead of him being in charge of me.

sounds like a completely normal baby. My almost 5 month old will be laying on the floor laughing and all of a sudden he will start screaming at me for no reason at all.

My 7 month old is like this. He goes from laughing to throwing a fit of rage, to rolling over and chilling quietly. Their attention spans aren't long, that's why their moods swing like that.
