Will she be ready?

My best friend wants my DD to be flower girl in her june wedding. I told her idk, she might not be old enough. Shell be 17 months. She already walks quite well. But im thinking getting her to walk down the aisle throwing flowers, without getting sidetracked is not going to be easy. Have any of you mamas had your DD be a flower girl, or know someone who did, with a year and a half year old?

My twins just turned 2 when they were flower girls in my sisters wedding. They "barely" did the task. Lol. My other sister was in the bridal party (second wedding and I was in the first), so she stood at the front of the isle for them to walk to her as I ushered them to walk down the isle. It was a small wedding but, they were still pretty scared of all the people. My mom was already seated in the front row. One of my girls is a huge Gramma's girl so she just ran to her. I don't know how your daughter is around crowds but, you might want to consider her being "escorted" with a JR bridesmaid or the last bridesmaid in line.

Oh and my girls didn't toss the petals! Lol
Hell, they barely did at the wedding they were in this October and they are now 4. Lol One did. She saw my signal and went for it. The other was a little shy and just wanted to get to the lineup.
