Breastfeeding HELP??

If you are or were nursing did your nipples suddenly become sensitive after months of having no issues?

It hasn't really hurt to nurse DD at all since about a month old, but all of a sudden for the past week my nipples are EXTREMELY sensitive. They aren't red or swollen and her latch hasn't changed so I have no idea why they became so sensitive out of no where. :/

yeah. But it turns out I was pregnant. lol

YES lol they just needed a break. Pumps are the best inenvtion ever!!

yes, usually when he is going through a growth spurt and is eating more and more frequently. Lanolin cream helped tons.

THIS! I nursed ODS for a whole year with no problems at all, until they started to hurt at around 13 month pp. Turns out I was 8 weeks pregnant with my YDS. I would go POAS just to rule it out.

ya, happened to me right now at 3 1/2 months

Thanks ladies. They have just never been this sensitive. Not even when we first started breastfeeding.   Boo.

Just when I would get lazy about a correct latch.

eta: not latch really, more positioning. Not keeping her head straight or her body in line with mine ect.
