just give her small sips at a time. Stay away from the juice. Some kids don't act sick when they are

I'd try giving her as much fluids as you can, water though not apple juice. Also dry toast?

Just give water, dont worry about solids until she can keep liquid down. Keeping her hydrated is most important. Give little sips every 10-15 minutes or so.

When my 2 year old had the flu she was the same way...puking my did not have a fever or act sick...I called her ped and he said to give her peidealite (spelling im sure ) but only give her one teaspoon every 30 mins for 2 hours...if she keept that down then one teaspoon every 15 mins for one hour and then if that stayed down one teaspoon every 10 mins for another hour..to give her stomach time to settle down and work out the bug he also said no food for 24 hours and deff no dairy and said to not give juice because the sugar in it would upset her tummy more....good luck mama

Nope you don't want to push large amounts of fluids at one time...op, the best advice I was given from an rn is to give one ounce at a time every 20 mins or so and increase the amount and frequency as tolerated. After awhile you should try Gatorade or pedialite (sp) to help replace her electrolytes. Once she can keep down the liquids, them introduce solids and keep to the brat diet-bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. Get well little one!

Wouldn't it be best to give her lots of fluids to keep her hydrated though?
Just my thought

No because the more she drinks the more she will get sick and puke up and the faster she can become dehydrated...if you go in small sips it gives the tummy time to adjust so to speak

Yea give her lots of fluids to keep her hydrated so she pukes them right back up. That makes sense right?
