yep you can still catch it. You could wear a mask in public and make sure to wash your hands right when you get home.

How come your son can't puke?

You can be contageous for up to 2 weeks after you have the bug. It's shed through fecal matter, so make sure you wash your hands really well after changing diapers and going to the bathroom.

Clean your house really well with a bleach solution (let it sit for a while before you rinse). Wash all towels and sheets/blankets on the hottest and longest setting with detergent. Also dry on high to help kill any remaining bug particles.

Other than that just be mindful. Immunity to the bug is short and limited, so it's definitely possible to catch it again, but just keep up with hand washing and avoid contact with anyone who has been sick recently.

I don't worry about scrubbing down the whole house after the flu as once you have it you are immune to it. You will also not keep passing it back and forth from each other. As for going in public just go if you catch the flu again you caught a different strain. We have had the flu once this year and didnt catch it again after we had it. Heck my lo didn't get it and the rest of us did.

Well if it is noro virus just washing your hands and bleaching won't help. When you flush it goes into the air so close the toliet lid and they are thinking that it is starting to just be airborne in general.

Ugh, great!

He had a G Tube when he was a baby and they did a surgery to stop reflux which in turn makes him not be able to burp or throw up. Everything comes out the other end if he gets sick.

I feel disgusting! And I'm sure from puking in every room of the house is not sanitary.

And it doesn't sound like they had the flu. It sounds like they had one of the strains of norovirus.

The flu doesn't last one day and it would have been accompanied by respiratory symptoms, high fever, body aches, chills, actual flu symptoms not just vomitting and the smurfs.

Because we puke on the toilet and make it there every time. So why clean absolutely everything.
