p90x

I just started p90x but I'm on what you would call 'a hardcore diet' and I'm only eating about 600-800 calories a day and have been for the past 2 weeks and the only reason I'm doing that is for my son if it were up to me I wouldn't be eating anything :p I have struggled with this problem since middle school I'm trying to up my calories then feel like smurf for eating so I don't eat for the rest of the day :p I was just wondering what would happen if I continued to only eat 600-800 calories a day and do p90x?

Your body will become more malnourished and you could possibly end up dying from starvation ir heart attack. After your body eats away at your muscles including your heart.

If you don't eat at least 1200 calories a day while working out to an intense workout then you actually won't lose weight..you will lose muscle definition and start storing fat.

And what exactly are you eating? Why not just start eating more salads, fruits, other veggies? Chicken? Fish? Just add more of that stuff to up your calories..If you starve yourself like this and workout then you will probably become very sick.

I've done p90x and had good results. I am starting again next week.

It is rough on your body
Do NOT eat that little per day
The results will be temporary and then it will backfire
If you want to be lean, eat 1200/ day
Only good carbs. No starchy processed white pasta or breads

Eat oats and whole grains.
And lots of protein. Eggs meat cheese and veggies

You will build muscle and muscle burns fat.

I mean I try to eat as much as I can and it's all healthy :p It sucks I just feel like I can't eat after I eat something I will feel so bad for eating anything over like 200 calories I try to just not look but ever since I have had my son(10wks ago) it has just made everything worse when it comes to my eating :p Don't get me wrong I try to eat more I do but I just can't bring myself to eat once I know I have eaten about 6-800 calories :p

If it gives you anxiety to look at the calories maybe a calorie counting diet isn't for you.

Try not to pay attention to the calories
As long as you are putting good food into your body and watching the portions
And working out, you'll see results quickly

Are you breastfeeding? If so you DEFINITELY need to eat WAY more than you are eating right now.

You should talk to you doctor if you can't eat more than 800 calories a day. You definitely need more than that, it sounds like a physc problem.

No I'm not bfing, idk it's just hard to eat something if you don't even have the urge to eat :p I keep telling myself eat 1,200 calories today just eat nothing white and some healthy meats and some fruits it never works :p I guess I just have to try harder idk obviously if it's just going to make it worse by doing p90x I will have to force myself to eat :p I want to talk to my boyfriend about it but he just gets pissed every time we talk about my eating habits :p

Yeah you really need to talk to your doctor about this hun! It is definitely something that needs to be fixed.

Idk lol! I'm pretty bad about punctuation so I use those as period or smiles depending on the subject of the sentence lol! I only use them when I have to, like when I was in school but ever since I have gotten out of school it has gotten pretty bad.

I'm going to start doing p90x next week, but I'm planning on eating 1200 calories a day. I read that if you eat less than 1200 calories a day, you will be losing weight, but you are losing more muscle mass than fat mass. Then it will start to affect your health, system and organs. Maybe you should talk to a nutritionist or dietician, so they can help you get your meals planned out? I find it so hard to have the time to eat since my youngest is still 2 months...but I want to try to eat healthy cause I want to set a good example for my children.
