My boyfriend said he is not taking me to labor and delivery till im in really bad pain and bend over kinda pain . And he said I should walk or go up and down stairs im going to try to sleep and hopefully I get woken up by more intense ones what ya think??

Depends if you want pain relief or not.
I loved the gas/air and then wanted the epidural before they couldn't do it.
Up to you mama, if you're coping at home then stay until you feel you need help to deliver.

How long are they lasting? What is your pain management plan? Are you hoping for a natural labor or planning on an epi. All this kinda dictates when you should go.

You may never have really bad pain with your contractions. My sister never did. She said she was uncomfortable but it never got to be really bad. She had both her kids completely unmedicated due to that. If you feel like you want to go in then go in. If we hadn't have made my sister go in and get checked my nephew would have been a UA home birth because her husband was at work and she lived a two hour ferry ride and five hour drive away from us.
