I have decided to do it. My best friend will be going to watch and cheer me on and I start training today. I want to survive it to get the cool medal but if not, I just don't want to be last.

In gym class in high school, we had to run a mile which was 4 laps around the track. I have never been a runner. I was always dead last because I had to walk it. The class would go in without me while I finished it. I am damned determined to finish this and run the whole thing.

I've been doing the couch to 5k running training. It's help me a lot. A was never really able to rub, now I can run for 6 min straight   lol

I found a few really good training posts on Pintrest and I'm on the website for this race reading up about the different obstacles.

There is an app that's like couch to 5k that trains you for running from zombies  
It's like 3 dollars, and I'm cheap.
