Trying to figure which is better?

posted 28th Jan
So for any younger mamas who have graduated from ohio, you most likely know about the OGT(Ohio Graduation Test)
Also, in order to recieve a diploma, you must pass all four of the tests or, not even if you have all your required credits, do not recieve your diploma.
I Can not recieve mine because i struggle with math and the math part i can not pass, i passed the others on my first try and have all my credits but the rules will not allow me to get my diploma.
So, i've been thinking, since im so close to getting my diploma, do i just keep attempting the test?(Maybe get a tutor? I do need one.)
Or Try for my GED? I've heard the GED was alot harder, and would think it harder to be as it tests based on 12th grade level while OGT is 10th grade level, but i've heard it might be easier.
I would have to retake all the tests over again instead of just having the math.
Advice please?

I graduated in 09' but as far as i'm aware there is five parts to the OGT. I passed all five of mine first try, but my friends who did not, did not have to take all five tests again, they only had to re-take the failed parts. They say a GED is the equivalent to the diploma, but I would much rather have an actual diploma. Talk with your school counselor, they should be able to help you. Good luck.

Texas has the same type of thing. I had a friend that had trouble passing the math, too. They only made him take the math test until he passed it. I suggest trying to take the test until you pass it so you can get your diploma. I've heard some people say they prefer a HS diploma to a GED when it comes to hiring for jobs. Good luck.

I've taken this test more then 5 times already and still no luck with passing.
and now not being in school anymore, i have no where to learn this or anything, not that my school tried when i reached out to help from them anyway..

That sucks. Maybe a private tutor or a tutor from another high school?
