I love the article. I plan on utilizing it on Alyssa. (The ones that are age appropriate for her anyways). I have been at my wits end with her a lot lately, I got fed up with her telling me NO, and actually popped her in the mouth. (Not my finest moment, and I feel like smurf about it.) It didn't leave a mark or anything like that, but it was still out of line on my part. (Please don't kick me while I am already down regarding the physical punishment comment).

I am so thankful this thread was posted though. I plan on using to to the fullest of my extent.

Good. I love to see a proactive parent rather than one defending and praising impulsive reactions that we all do in some form. Mine has been spanking which I always swore up and down I wouldn't do. Its not even working. I needed something else so this came at the perfect time for me as well.
