When my kids were newborns, I could make as much noise as I wanted and they slept through everything. It all changed when they got older. Not sure why. They all passed the hearing tests with flying colors.

I really wouldn't worry too much yet. Your baby heard all the noise while you were pregnant. He's kind of used to it. Give it a little while longer, then if he doesn't respond to noises, I'd ask his doctor.

If he heard all those noises in the womb, he may just be used to them and can sleep right through them. I wouldn't worry, I'd enjoy it lol

That's fairly normal. They hear noises in your stomach and become accustomed to it. We have a monthly fire alarm test in our building and LO has never woken up from it. Nor have our dogs barking ever woken him up.

He's probably used to those noises. DH is a motorcycle mechanic and DD has been around bikes since the womb. Once when she was about 3 months old I went to visit DH at work. Another mechanic started and revved a bike not realizing she was in the garage asleep. She didn't flinch.

I knew he would be used to some noises but im not used to this lol

It's probably because he heard all that in the womb so he is used to it.

When my son was a newborn my dog would bark and he wouldn't even jump ( I would) but now he's almost 4 months old and if I shake a rattle or say his name he looks in that direction. I used to worry too cause my nephew failed his test and has hearing aids are 8yrs old but he seems to be able to hear now so try not to stress too much I think its a newborn thing!

Completely normal....where do you think the term "sleeping like a baby" came from?
