Just be honest. Explain that you believe that it should be up to the parents to teach their children about religion and that you don't feel comfortable doing it.

Different Christian denominations have different ways of approaching the Bible. Some recognize it as parabolic, while others view it as more literal and actual history.

OP said other children don't go there. Of course if it was an actual daycare, that would be an absurd request, but since it's just their child that OP is taking care of, I don't think it's extremely unusual for parents to ask that specific things be done.

Specific things like, "Don't let my child watch television" or "Please make sure they eat fresh vegetables three times a day"....not, "Please teach my child about MY religious beliefs".

It's very, very different.

Nope. If they want religion in the kids day to day, they really should have their kids in a private school/preschool.
