DS never acted like he knew the difference between milk and formula. We mixed half and half for a week and then just gave him milk after that and he started eating whole foods with us because he was hungrier.

i weaned my son off it. he still has some on occasion cause he's a picky eater. but i started off by mxiing 2 ounces of whole milk into toddler formula, and gradually increased the amount of milk vs. the amount of formula. We tried giving him just milk alone at 12 months but it conctipated him, so thats why we did it gradually. the toddler formula is cheaper than regular formula too.

i did the same half and half.

I couldn't get my daughter to eat much until about a month ago, which is when I got her off the formula/bottle. She is going to be 17 months on the first. We did it cold turkey, she did just fine! She also was use to getting bottles at nap/night time and she did just fine without it then too.

DD started whole milk at 9 months old. She is going to be 12 months in 6 days and been just on whole milk for 3 weeks now.

She refused to drink formula, she will throw it at me and not drink anything unless its whole milk. So she gets whole milk at every meal 1/2 cup and at 1 snack (just before bed) which is 1/2 cup and drinks water throughout the day.

I had to put her on a 12 month up mealplan to get the right amount of whole milk a day in and foods with iron.

We did half and half starting at 11 months, took about a week to completely transition to whole milk.

Start now, start with like an ounce of milk and then gradually add more. I stopped at half and half and then when he turned 1 I switched him straight to milk.

Also, is she still on baby food or do you do table food? My son did better with finger foods and things he could feed himself.

My little boy drank 8oz bottles of formula, I started by doing 6oz formula 2oz cows milk, then 5/3, 4/4, and then 3oz formula 5oz cows milk etc etc until he was on full cows milk and he loves it! more so than formula!
