Average height

What is the average height of a 12 month old?

I know dd is tiny really tiny, but I am curious on the height/lenght of a 12 month old, she is 12 months in 6 days.

How old was your baby when they were 26 inches long? Cause that is dd height, 26 inches.

And yes I know all babies are different, this is just out of curiosty. lol

DS2 just turned 12 months on the 23rd and he is only 27 inches.

Well Dang! My 4 month old is 24 inches long.

My 6 month old is about 28" right now. My toddler was about 26" at 6 months and was 29" at a year. They are boys 

my 14 week old is 26 1/2

3-4 mths.


12 months, around 33-34 inches

Both my kids were 4 months and 26 inches, DD was over 30 by 1.

At 26in my kids were 3 months and 2.5 months (I have tall boys). Mann was 33in at 12 months old, Monster isn't 1 until March 31st, but he's 33.5 now.

Some of you ladies have tall kids. lol

DD has been the same height since 9 months old. lol she wont grow, her weight is 15lbs......lol

No one in public (that I dont know) believe me that she is basically 12 months old. lol they always guess like 4-5 months old.

Both my kids were 26 inches at 4-1/2 months.

She's just tiny.
My oldest is my only tall kid, the others are very average. She's height/weight proportionate but just to for her age. My kids were that weight at that height.

It gets frustrating tho. Cause I look at her as if she is still 6 months old...kwim? lol
She just learned to crawl on her hands and knees on sat, but since then she will actually play on her knees with her bigger toy items like her walker, but she still refuses to take any steps when she pulls up. she cant even see over the walkers handle yet. lol

I know she will get it soon, it just frustrates me, I am used to walking kids by now, and talking kids, she has no words yet at all either. lol

I know how that feels, my oldest two walked at 9 mths and my youngest is 11 mths and still isn't walking. I know I shouldn't compare them but its hard not to.

It is hard not to compare them. lol But all my kids are different in a lot of ways, but all were the same temperment as little babies, but milestones have always been reached differently. But yet early. except this lo.

Does your 11 month old walk around furniture at all? Or have any words yet? Lo wont even walk around furniture, but I have really noticed her feet are completely sideways when standing, so glad we see the pedi in 8 days.

Yeah. He cruises on furniture. Just in the past few days he's started letting to of stuff and standing on his own. He will take a few steps then fall.
I think a big part of it is his temperament, he's very different from my older kids. He's calm, easy going and cautious.

He wasn't making any sounds a month ago, I actually had him evaluated for services bc of his delay, no babbling at all.
Them he started babbling a bit and now says one word, "that" as in what's that?
He points and says it.
