I was in a wedding last June, and had to get my bridesmaid's dress there, and it was a fine experience. They have so much to choose from.

I was at a davids bridal looking at dresses a couple years ago. The one i went to were very nice. I didn't have an appointment. The lady was very patient with me. She wasn't pushy and she didn't care how many dresses i tried on or what the price was. I didn't purchase a dress but she was super nice about it. She gave me her business card and wrote out the specific dresses (the purchase number, price and what size fit me well) She let me tried on some vails and everything.

All in all I had a pleasant experiance

I had issues with the people who do all of the resizing for the dress... I forget what they are called but they are rude as hell. There was one time they called me and wanted me to come in for an extra fitting and I couldn't because I worked that day and they got all kinds of pissy about it and they never did get it fit just right. The last sizing they did the dress was to small *just a bit* but it was enough to make me look like I had a massive roll of back fat (this is back when I was MUCH thinner than I am today) but there was no time to fix it so I just had to deal with it. OH and they told me it would only be like maybe 200 to resize the dress and it ended up costing me 600. Never going to Davids Bridal again.

That's where my sister went for her first wedding dress and the bridemaids dresses, she actually tried them a second time for her second wedding. They treated the whole party like a piece of trash both times. She actually took the time to bitch at people at the bridal show telling them how bad they were, they don't have any selection at all here.

I went to one here and the lady who worked with me during my appointment was very sweet and helpful. She didn't suggest anything outside of my price range, was really patient while I tried (and re-tried) dresses. She helped me look at accessories (sashes/veils) while I was wearing the dress I chose. And the rest of the ladies who worked there were really sweet as well.

Oh and my appointment took 1.5-2 hours. I'd suggest going soon, if you want a dress and they don't have it in your size it can take a while to come in. I ordered mine earlier this month and it won't be here until the beginning of April.

I had a wonderful experience when I bought my dress. It was $600. I didn't have any of the fittings or alterations there because I friend of the family did it..

They treated me VERY well. Also, the first dress that I picked out was only $300 but after buying it, JUST to stay "in budget", I was MISERABLE. They have a NO RETURN policy for dresses. I waited 2 weeks and then gave them a call to beg them to take it back so I could buy my dream dress ($600 one). The girl handed the call off to a manager and she made an exception and exchanged it for me.

I was really happy with them.

Congratulations!

I'm getting married March 31st, 2013. I actually had a great experience with David's Bridal (which I was surprised about, because well, that doesn't often happen for me). I browsed David's Bridal dresses online & saved some of my favorites. I called to set up an appointment & the woman I spoke with was very friendly & helpful. My appointment went GREAT!   I didn't know they would do this, but the David's Bridal girl that worked with me, pulled every dress from my favorites that they had in that store (about 8 out of my 12 favorites). Jessica was fun, friendly, energetic, helpful & very patient. I tried on 4 dresses because my MOH forced me, but I chose & bought the first dress I tried on. My momma was an hour late (my appointment was at 1:00pm, she had worked until 7:00am that morning). Jessica even helped me back into the first dress, so my mom could see me in it. I thought that was very sweet & considerate. My entire appointment (they were *very* busy that Saturday) took about 2 hours, mostly because of my momma being late. On 7/14/2012 I spent $992 on my dress, corset bra, petticoat, veil & a flower for my hair. My bridal party did not buy their dresses at David's Bridal though.

I had my first dress fitting 12/8/12 & the alterations lady had about as much personality as a wet paper towel. She kind of put a damper on my excitement of the fitting. But, she did her job so in the end that's all that really matters. I paid $194.90 for them to alter the halter neck, take in the bust on both sides & to add a 3 button over bustle. I picked up my dress all perfect & steamed about 5 weeks later. The woman who actually altered my dress & helped me at the 2nd dress fitting was a little ray of sunshine. She had a Russian accent & was cracking jokes the entire time, but still professional & helpful. Both fittings took about 30-45 minutes, in & out.

Overall I had an awesome experience with David's Bridal. With any company, sometimes you just end up with people who have crappy customer service skills, are having a bad day, or just don't enjoy their job. Those people are usually the kind I end up with… So I was pleasantly surprised with my David's Bridal experience.

The only negative things I could say is... I've gotten a bazillion stupid sales calls from David's Bridal since I bought my dress & it stinks that you can't return anything.

March is coming up pretty quick though! So you might want to hurry. You may end up paying extra for alterations, if your dress needs to be rushed. (I think they offer rushing, unless I'm thinking of Men's Wearhouse...)
