I had no progress at 40 weeks. At 40 weeks 3 days, I went into full blown labor and had her within 12 hours

With Audrianna there was no rush for me to have her. The doctor didn't want to intervine at all and believed in letting baby cook until she was ready. I went to 40 weeks 3 days when my water broke (before then at most I was dilated was a 1) and had her at 40 weeks 4 days with little pitocin used. Also your body generally won't make a baby that is too big for your body.

Also my Ob with Audrianna said that if you didn't fully dilate with your first it isn't really shocking not to be dilating faster with your second. /shrugs.

seriously I made 0 progress from 34 weeks until the day my water broke. My Ob was good with it and asked me if I wanted to keep going in the pregnancy or have a c-section but that she advised going for the VBAC.

Hmmmm. I'm due a week before you and have no idea if I'm progressing because my doc doesn't check
I do know that aound 1/4-1/3 of all his deliveries are VBACS (he is the most reccommended on my local ICAN) and according to their stats most of their babies are over 8 lbs. I've even seen a 11lber.
He also won't induce until 42 weeks and will use pit on a very low dose, he just told me no prosteglandis? (sp) Cervix ripeners.
I wouldn't worry.

From my understanding its like cervadil, the stuff they put in your cervix to dialate you.
He was telling me to go have sex with SO becasue his sperm contained natural Prostaglandis (sp), and I couldn't have the artificial version due to my c-section scar.

start putting prim rose oil every night inside you this will help with dialting and ripening the cervix.
