I would be worried too. I found a pair of pink gloves in SO's car that didn't belong to anyone, and all he does is go to work and come home, too. So I keep trying to just not worry about it, but if it was a woman's shirt, I would probably be even more concerned. I'm curious to see everyone else's advice though

"Who's shirt is that?" would have been my first question. My second question would have been "if he IS cheating how did she go home without a SHIRT?"

I would worry about pink gloves. You need to talk to him about it

One time, I found a pair of panties in s/o's backpack. I about fainted.

But I had forgotten he had loaned his backpack to our mutual friend to go camping with, and she had forgotten a pair of undies at the bottom.

Phew.

I posted in the OP that he said he picked it up from in front of his car and put it in his thinking it was one of our shirts that had fallen out of the car since we have had clothes in the car before and his car is pretty trashed. I am 100% sure it isn't a shirt I've ever owned before, and it wasn't in the car a week ago.

I know that. But you knew it wasn't your shirt so why didn't you question him about it?

I'm kind of worried to go with my gut because there have been times I've worried he was cheating with no real reason, just that I felt I wasn't enough for him.
