I'd have had a million questions for my husband right then and there....and I have an incredibly trustworthy DH, but that wouldn't fly.

I kept saying "if one of our shirts did fall out of the car, how would it get in front of the car?" since he said it was in front of his car. Ugh, he doesn't do good with being questioned though, I can ask him his favorite food and he gets huffy.

Well that's the only explination I have. Because is excuse was some bull smurf.

I dunno, OP... Does he normally put his jacket in that spot or was that the first time he had put it there? If he normally puts it somewhere else I would have assumed he was trying to hide it on purpose and that's shady.

His car is so dirty..he usually throws EVERYTHING down in the passengers side floor board and thats where the shirt and his jacket was, I just found it odd it happened to land right over the strange shirt in his car. If it weren't for that I wouldn't feel it was so shady and would more likely buy his "i thought it was my shirt" story.. I also found it weird he took his jacket off at all because he's always freezing.

OP it sounds to me you have grounds to do some snooping.

I honestly don't feel like any woman would "be" with him as mean as it sounds, his work uniform is covered in 10 layers of grease and he always stinks...I don't know..

I did. As soon as I found them. He claimed no knowledge of them, they had to have been left there by his daughter, or sister or SIL. Or they were there before we got the car (we got it from my grandmother and have found lots of stuff in it)
