Boyfriend Moved In...

My boyfriend moved in. He is responsible and a good role model. He shows my daughter a considerable amount of attention because he has a genuine interest in being a part of her life.

Her dad is not involved and hasn't been a significant majority of her life. She is four next month. My boyfriend is not acting as a "father replacement", but we want this to be a smooth transition for all of us. He has been exclusively living with us for a month.

For people that have experienced this living situation, what are some tips to make this a good and fun change for all of us? What were your challenges? How did you work through them?

Make sure he gets plenty of freedom so he doesn't feel overwhelmed with a "wide and child" he may not act it, but it will come... It's stressful to everyone
