What could this be? (TMI with picture)

Alight, so...
I hate having to post this but I have no idea whats going on.
Im supposed to start my period either tomorrow or Wednesday. I started having brown spotting on Friday. It was only when I would wipe. Then Saturday night I noticed it was in my underwear but not much. Yesterday, I started having like...brown chunks. Like clots maybe? This is still going on today. Here is from when I just went to the bathroom like 5 mins ago.

So...any ideas?
I was talking to my mom about it and she said that my weight loss might have something to do with it and it might be messing with my periods? I lost like 15 lbs last month.

Could you be pregnant? Brown is old blood, so your period could be off because of the weight loss, or you could be pregnant. My period was 3 days late this cycle, I lost 10 lbs this month.

I've been having the same problem! but I'm also almost 16 weeks PP. mine like that lasts for almost 4-7 days. I'm watching this!

My periods are always heavy and I always have clotting. My clots are typically this size and frequently larger too. I know it's not fun, but the picture you have here is a normal period for me. My doctor has never been concerned, and I have absolutely no reproductive issues other than painful and long periods.
I am the picture of reproductive health! Easy conceptions, easy pregnancies, healthy births, babies.
I rarely ever get anemic.

As this must be atypical for you, you might consider talking to your OB about switching BC. My doc put me on Yaz for awhile and my clotting became extremely excessive. Clots about four times the girth of that with extreme bleeding. I had to be hospitalized twice! Finding a birth control that works well for you is a must. As soon as I got off the Yaz, my periods went back to normal; with what was typical for me- clotting like in your above picture.

I mean I could be. But I took a pregnancy test saturday morning because thats the first thing that popped in my head and it was negative.
