DD is petrified

of vacuums?! i thought they were supposed to be calming to them. at 4 months, she'd sleep through me running it (usually had loud music playing- not too loud though). Suddenly she got to where she'd scream every time i'd start it up. now she just sees us get it out and goes into hysterics. is this normal?

DS used to fall asleep to the sound. Then he became terrified of them but now he tries to vacuum for us.

Its a phase. Mine went from loving them, to hating them, to tolerating them.

My daughter HATED the vacuum from birth until she was nearly 4.

My son never had an issue with it.

Every kid is different.
