I need some BG help!

I've been working on a video montage for my son to play at his first birthday party in may (I'm getting a head start). The thing is, I'm only at 8 months and it's already 19 minutes long. I know I have a lot to cut, but as his mommy I can't help but want to put in every picture lol I need help deciding! I want to keep it no longer than 20-25 minutes. Since everyone at the party will be close friends and family that won't mind sitting for that long to watch his first year.

Please take the time to watch, and let me know what you all think! If there is anything I can take out, anything I can change. Let me know what areas I can cut out, where you start to loose some interest, or anything like that! I appreciate anyone that takes the time out to watch!

Why don't you just play it in the background during the party instead? Then you can add all the pix you want.

that's a good idea, but then it would be soooooo long! lol i have over 3,000 pictures of him and he's only 8 months.

I'd really like to sit all of our family down for a little to watch it. I know if I just play it in the background people might not pay attention instead of me getting everyone together to watch it.

This is totally what I'd do. Just have it continuously running instead of having everyone sit down and watch it.

I don't have 20 mins to watch. lol Just use 5 or so pics for each month.

Well what if you make this one in a continuous loop then make a smaller one for everyone to watch that's like 5-10 min long?

Any longer than that and even I would start getting antsy.

My MIL always does like a year in review dvd for each family for the holidays. Some are as short as 20 min some as long as an hour. Just depends on who had the most pics that year. Maybe make copies for everyone so they can take it with them.

This is a great idea! Made me cry and wanna go snuggle with my DD! Your family and friends will love it!! Maybe make a copy for everyone too  

This was to die for!! I watched for about 16 minutes then turned it off but the videos were adorable. It was so cute how every month you made a new video of Logan too, I think I might do that with Ryleigh!

I take a video and a picture of his upper body and his whole body in length every single month. this actually just reminded me that I didn't do his 8 month yet. smurf. haha. they sell all types of stickers to put on onesies for month by month pictures on etsy! i didn't know about those until after he was born and I already did a few months worth of pictures.
