my 3 year was getting dressed into her onsie for bed and she couldnt get it on and proceeded to shout out, "erghh, its bloody knackered" to which i reply "excuse me" she just looked up and went "oh sugar, language, sorry mummy, its just like daddy"

and the other day she was stood on a chair and shouted "oh bollocks" i told her it was naughty and again she said "im just like daddy"

she has also said smurf but realised that was wrong right away as she said "slip mummy i said slip" so i said "are your fibbing" and she said "yes mummy, language mummy"

I love your all's way of cursing  

I would love it if my kid said Knackered and Bollox

I'm gonna sound like an ass but your swears are adorable. What do they even mean?
Anyways, I will probably be in your dHs shoes. I don't watch my mouth around DS and it is going to catch up on me one day. Its not that hard not to swear, but once your swears are ingrained in your brain its like a reflex. :/
I have been doing swear replacement. Clustermug, mugger fugger, crap etc. they aren't as fun but they get the job done.

knackered generally means broken or tired. bollock is a slang term for a mans testicles or can mean oh crap and smurf well that speaks for its self lol
