B. You Zany Zoo unsafe? -vent-

Felix got one of these activity cube things for Christmas from my in-laws and lately he's been pulling on the bead mazes on top. It nearly falls over onto him if I don't hold it down. It's 13.5 pounds and made of wood. The corners are rounded but the edges down the sides are not and I don't know, it feels really solid and heavy to me.

Anyway, I told my husband to keep an eye on him while he played with it and he told me I was overreacting, that a nearly 14 pound wooden toy wouldn't hurt a nine month old if it happened to topple over. We argued about it and he still claims I'm 'being an idiot.' I'm not saying our kid can't play with it at all but I think HE'S being ridiculous for assuming no harm can come of this thing falling. :/

Am I wrong? My husband also said that he'd be 'fast enough' to catch the TV if it fell too. (Don't worry. The TV is now secure, thank god.)and I just think he's just assuming everything will ALWAYS be fine instead if being cautious just in case. I hate that he's like this. All we do is argue.  

I would just set it on the floor instead of a table. He really can't get hurt even if it did fall over if hes on the floor.

I bought my nephew one of those. I can't see how he would pull it over and actually cause harm unless it was on a raised surface.

I have one of those, my kids just play with it on the floor

We use it on the floor and have never had any issues.
