Could this be anything serious ?

My DD pees a lot. I'm talking kind of abnormal. Every 2 hours its like pounds of pee in her diaper. If i change her, go to the store, and come home shes drenched. I don't even give her that much to drink either. It's the same amount as every other kid and possibly even less. I don't know if they could have kidney or bladder problems this young (16 months) I was thinking maybe diabetes but I'm a type 1 diabetic and I've been told it skips generations.
She had a doctors appointment today but SO forgot to mention it to them. Have any of you experienced this before and have maybe a clue of what it could be just to ease my mind for now?

My son started doing that when he was about 14 months and still does. I can put a completely dry new diaper on him and less than 2 hours later the pee is running down his legs he's so wet. He gets maybe 3 cups of drink a day. I've asked his doctor and they said it was normal for him. I'm still waiting on answers. Good luck momma.
