re: anyone have their membranes swept?

I had my membranes stripped last wednesday and about 12 hrs later I started having contractions every 3minutes for 24 hrs but it didnt change my cervix! They did it again this morning so im hoping it does something other wise I will be induced next week

No, it causes you to go to the bathroom & causes everything to simulate. It does work, you don't drink the whole bottle. You take a small shot of it, and it doesn't cause the baby to use to bathroom in the womb. If it didn't work, then why would it be on a bunch of baby sites. Yes, you are supposed to tell your doctor but you can do it.

I have had it done twice and nothing so far. I have also tried the breast pump for nipple stimulation and that hasn't worked for me either. I will be 40 weeks on Friday and nothing has worked for me.

This is so true. I had a bm when my mom was pregnant with me bc she tried castor oil. Nearly killed us both. I would never try that!!

awh, but everyone is different not everyone that will happen to. for the nipple simulation, use your fingers works alot better than using the breast pump.
