Pediasure

Do you give your LO's any?

My son has been going through a phase where he will not eat anything.

He barely eats breakfast or dinner.

but he will eat lunch.
I've tried different times for breakfast & dinner,
new things.. etc.
but he will not eat.

I was thinking of pediasure or something simliar to give him until the phase passes.

What else would you recommend trying?

pedisure is a good idea but still offer a snack w/it.....mabe a banana or goldfish crackers.

I'm going to be honest, I don't think Pediasure is the right answer. We did it for a year and I wish we had not. He still doesn't want to eat and we've pulled him off of Pediasure over a month ago. He's about to turn 3 if that matters.

he just turned 3 last monday.
i'm hoping the phase passes because he's only ate maybe a bowl of cereal all day.

And yes, we did therapy for over a year, it didn't help either :-/ I give up.

dont give up momma.....2 of my children have ASD and a host of sensory issues   They are 11 &12yrs old now and have the annoying ability to tell if i try to make a different brand of mac n cheese ,buy generic soda, etc.....they will only eat certain textures and temperatures. Its frustrating as all hell but you learn to live w/it.

Yep, he picks out brands, textures, tastes as well. Sometimes I want to cry. Thank you for the encouragement.

as my ''specail needs'' kids get older , its easier to focus on all the good things they accomplish   the annoying things become just another part of daily life that you cope with. Sometimes its actually cool to know that your child is so ''intuned'' that they can really pass a pepsi or coke challenge. My son can tell who's jacket is whom's at a family gathering by the smell (somehow he can smell the scent of the house they came from)

That's amazing and such a positive thing to look at. It's not something we all have talent to do, for sure.
