EBF & Mirena.

If you are/were EBFing & had the Mirena inserted, how long did you bleed for? (If you bled at all)



I already got my PP period, I wasn't lucky enough to have no period while BFing. Even though I'm not bleeding badly, I am so ready for it to stop.

I bled for like a month

Lucky! Well, I got it put in on the 23rd of this month. Which made me 6.2 weeks PP. I *think* the bleeding I got prior to that was my period. Unless my PP bleeding just decided to take a random break for a week. I was on my possible period for 7 days, it took a one day break & I started bleeding again. Another BG mama said it's most likely from my mirena. But I'm thinking since I was already on my period when I got it, it may just be an extended period since it's the first one I have had since having my son.

The only other issue I ever had for it was the string decided to go up into my body and was a pain to get out. But no real periods the 2 1/2 years I had it in and I got it at the 6 week pp mark.
