I only have 1 Opk and need to get more!! But Idk when the best time to start testing is!! My cycles are all weird and sometimes will be a 15 day cycle sometimes a 35 day cycle. So when would you recommend to start testing??

Ive never used opk's before. This is my first time.

I usually start about CD 13 but I know that I don't usually ovulate until CD 17 or 18 and I'm pretty regular. They say for those that are just getting started using OPKs to start testing at about CD 10 so you will definitely need some more (cheap) OPKs.   Never use FMU and once you see them starting to get darker start testing twice a day.

It really doesn't matter if your guy has a healthy sperm count.

Correct. It's also helpful when you're new to OPKs to use the cheap ones until you think you have a positive and then use a digi to confirm it.

yes as dark or darker. I only ever got positives on the cheapy test strips. I spend money on the first response once for a cycle and i could never get a positive on them, even after i got a + on the cheap ones and then did the fr with the same pee...it was never as dark or darker. The cheap ones work great i think.
