Amen. Also OP if your baby is anything like my son, he'll just snack instead of drinking a whole bottle at once[unless you give him a bottle from birth which is not recommended if you want to BF] so you'd have to re-heat the milk or keep making new bottles every half hour. Which is the biggest PITA ever.

If you want to breastfeed, do it exclusively and just stick it out for the first few weeks. You could always switch to the bottle if you hate it or it doesn't work out for you.

And I would totally recommend pumping if you have nursing issues, but still want to use breastmilk!!   I pumped for about 6 months total I think. I was a little disheartened when I started using formula, but at the same time I was so happy not being attached to the pump all day long.

Boobs = convenience!
