SO i decided to name my daughter Natalie Nicole. i was going to name her darcie mae but it was a huge problem for the baby daddy so i changed it to dallis wich turned into a huge problem for my mom so now shes Natalie. any how my cousin (deanna) just told me on facebook --- copied and pasted---

I would tell everyone that you are undecided on the name and they will know it when the baby is here. And then choose the name that you/baby's father decide on without worrying about what every one else thinks.

Tell 'em not to buy anything with a name on it. You can change your babies name as often as you like.  

Tell everyone she doesn't have a set name yet.. And it's best they refrain from buying anything personalized to save everyone the trouble. I was the same way with this baby he's had about 4 or 5 names already lmao.. About 2 weeks ago we FINALLY decided on his name ha!

I agree the way she said that was pretty rude.

If you're not 100% on the name, just tell her that if they'd like to get stuff, it might be best if they got things that don't have the name on it.

This is what we did with both our daughters. Its nobodys business if u want to change her name 100 times before shes born.

I think it's annoying when people announce a name and change it 100 times. Keep it to yourself until you're sure.

Well, if they are planning on buying personalized things for the baby, it would make sense that they want to know her name, and make sure it's final

I like the name Natalie too  

And I agree, it was very rude. That's why I would have just said it's undecided and leave it at that.

We had a name Dacia (Old greek name) and Kalleigh, so after DD was born she went around showing everyone pictures of "Dacia" without asking me DD's name. I ended up naming her Sienna because it fit her better.

Ask them to hold off on personalized gifts until baby gets here. They can be welcome home gifts instead!

thats what i was thinking. but the girl nikki on there that she is reffering to is kind of slow and so if she wants to get something with a name id still use it no matter what bc with her she tries really hard to make ppl happy and id never let her know i didnt like something or anything like that..

the names were supposed to be between me my mother, my sister, my grandma and my bf. i didnt tell every one until i decided on natalie, natalie is what her name is. its not my fault everytime i thought a name was cute it got back to them as her new name.. i didnt want that i didnt do it.

The rude part was her trying to make you think the girl had already had things embroidered. Like she wanted you to feel guilty about changing your mind. Just tell them that it's Natalie for good now. PS- Natalie is a much much nicer name than the other two choices. It's just a sweet sounding name.
