Hubby issues

So I'm 37 weeks TODAY and I got a phone call from my husband on Thursday saying he filed for a DIVORCE. This is our second live birth and our 4th pregnancy! We've been through so much, and even after telling me what he did, he still told me that "if I loved him, I would fight it". I decided he obviously doesn't love me as much as I love him, so I told him I'm not going to even try. AFTER I told him that, he started panicking and saying he could get it canceled, and I said NO. Let it go through. Because if you cancel it, I'm filing. I can't believe he would pull this crap right before I go into labor. Oh well. Shows where his loyalty lies. I just don't care anymore. I have our son and I'll be getting our newest arrival in a matter of a few short weeks. I don't have time to stress and worry about him. Guess this was more of a rant, but jeez you must be kidding me! Not even a month before I'm due and he drops this bombshell on me. Anyone else have this problem?

But I feel for you that has got to be the worst thing to go through. I hope all works out for you! Good luck with everything that you will be going through and try to keep your head up.

Sorry i cant say ive had that problem but i agree that is messed up he would do that to you!!! He shouldnt be stressing you out and i think he is an ass for doing that.

It sounds like he took a more drastic measure than he should have. He should have talked to you about his concerns instead of just filing for divorce. Sorry he dropped this all on you right before you're due.

That's awful. You don't need him if he is that low down.  

Men are dumb asses sometimes. Just stick to your guns, do what you feel is right. Hopefully he will still be there for your children, good luck.

Sounds to me like he was wanting you to beg him. Don't do it! That is very childish. You have more important things to do right now. Good luck

See that's what I think too. Because he backpedaled and freaked out and tried to cancel it when I told him I wasn't going to fight it. He's dumb anyway. I should have known this was coming. But whatever I don't care. His family has been bashing on me anyway and I just don't need it.   It's horrible what they're doing to us, and I wish they would BUTT OUT but they can't. He has his head stuck so far up their butts that it's impossible to yank it out long enough for him to realize that what he's doing is tearing us apart by running to his mommy for everything. For Christ's sake, he's 22 years old and still has to have his mommy fix everything! I'm 19 going on 20 and I'm already way more mature than that! I mean seriously? Grow a pair or I'm gone! Sheesh.

And that night, I ended up in the hospital, thinking my water broke (again) and having mild contractions that were 7 minutes apart. Luckily it was a false alarm, but since I just turned 37 weeks yesterday, I was pretty ticked off since I'm really paranoid about having him too early. My son was 6 weeks preemie, and had to have open heart surgery at 4 days old, so I'm hoping and praying this one goes a LOT smoother. But I was so mad because I was still only 36 weeks and he sprung that on me. He obviously loves his family more than me. We've been together almost 3 years and he can't stop acting like a little kid. I feel like I'm raising my son, I'm pregnant again, AND I'm raising HIM too! Ugh! Really?

Yeah and unfortunately I think that's the only real reason I tried to make our marriage work out. For the kids. It sucks. I was willing to risk my happiness for my kids, but he obviously didn't want the same.

Good luck girl! I hope your baby stays in until it's time. I honestly doubt he even filed for divorce. I think he was just trying to see what you would do or say. It's a bunch of bs and he is totally selfish for doing that to you while you are pregnant. Keep your head up and concentrate on those beautiful babies. Yeah that's what I think too. He's a compulsive liar, so it wouldn't surprise me. But thanks for listening guys. It helps to be able to vent!
