That's crappy. I'm sorry.

Sadly, when I lived in a large apartment complex I used to hear the toddler who lived upstairs screaming all the time. Like bloody murder and thigs like "momma please" or "momma help!" and crying anc crying. I would also hear his mother scream "shut the smurf up" at him followed by loud bangs and he would scream louder. I called the cops on them after about a week living down stairs and it turns out he was locked in the closet screaming to be let out and she was watching tv screaming at him to shut up and would throw stuff at the closet door. He had just turned two. So sad

That's terrible. Soo sad.

When my son was like 6-9 months old he HATED baths and would literally SCREAM at the top of his lungs. I would like cry giving him baths because he hated them so much and I always hoped that my neighbors were inside so that they didn't hear him and think I was hurting him lol

Lol, all I do is yell, and most of the time it's just the way I talk,

But I'm with u, Dean has adhd and odd... he has meltdowns at the drop of a hat. Jade screams bloody murder, and she's talking or laughing, she has this hi-pitched squeal/scream, she just does to do it...

I'm overly paranoid when they are flipping their smurf, I usually talk really loud like, *I don't care Dean, scream all u want, we can't have a goat, that's all I'm going to say about this, calm ur ass down and when ur ready to talk I'll be over here* lol

i trll him to stop once, if he dont i ask him to stop, and tell him "if you dont stop screaming mommy will have to put you in time out we dont act like this" he hates time out so uasually this works. if not, he goes in time out and watches the microwave timer. hes not allowed to get up until he stops or time starts. uasually lasts 10 secs on screaming in time out.

Wow... now I'm sad, poor baby,  

I wonder about that with my boys.... they're 18-months and three years and get into screaming competitions.

Who is the "they" you are referring to??

The police came and arrested the mother. The father lived in the home but worked during the day when it would happen. I never heard it happen when he was home, although we didn't live there long. We didn't stay in those apartments. I couldn't handle the people who lived there and they were insanely dirty. We broke our lease shortly after this incident so I'm not sure what happened with that family long term, I know the mother got arrested that day. I don't think it was for what was happening to the baby though, they found meth in her purse.

Sorry... "they" was the police. From the story it sounded like they checked and said, "Oh yeah... there's a baby in the closet and the mom's throwing stuff at the door" and left.

Hopefully she got help and someone else could take care of the child.
