Dying/Bleaching hair help!

I've had alot of experience dyeing my hair. I think I would probably just dye over it. Unless there is too much green tone in a pretty obvious place then you are going to have to do something with that. Trying to bleach it out again is really going to fry your hair.

I've heard using a clarifying shampoo will help fade the color faster, therefore eliminating the need to bleach it again.

Also heard that Head and Shoulders brand strips color pretty fast. I wouldn't put purple on top of the green color... I don't think it'll come out right. Try to fade the color even more before resorting to bleach again. Your bleached hair is underneath that color, so all you need to do is get the color off your hair.

I'm going from pink to lilac. I faded most of the pink out first. I washed it like 4 times a shower for 5 or 6 showers with shampoo that lists sulfates in the ingredients and my hair is pretty consistently faded now.

I wouldn't recommend bleaching it again.

My original plan was lavender so i'm planning on getting the purple first. And fading it after awhile.

Yeah, I don't want to bleach it. My hair is smurfed already.

You see, problem is I need to do it this week. So I don't havc time to fade it. I'm throwing my son a bday party this saturday coming up and I don't want to be shown in pictures with jacked up haur you know? lol

If you do bleach it, buy protein packs. And leave them on your hair after shampooing for like 5 minutes. It'll keep your hair from frying and looking a frizzy mess. I use one every time I color/bleach my hair. Keratin leave-in spray also works wonders.

Do you think I could use color remover instead of bleach? Like on the green parts.

And any protein packs you recommend? I'm pretty sure my hair will be more of a mess after this so I'll be doing a treatment.

I faded it in 2 days

I used color remover once.

  It fried my hair worse than bleach did. And I just buy the red/white colored protein packs from Sally's. I can't remember what the brand name is... but they're only a few bucks, sometimes cheaper if they have them on sale.

Yeah I thought so. I really don't want to bleach it but i'm scurred the purple over green isn't going to come out pretty.

Idk, cheap. White rain or some smurf. It doesn't matter as long as it lists sulfates in the ingredients.

I washed it like 20 times. I'd wash it a few times, get out and let it dry, and repeated until I felt it was faded enough.it will superficially dry your hair though cause it's washing all the oils out, I just put in some leave in conditioner.
