SO hates when I try new things and they fail     But this looks really good. I'm just worried about burning the pork chops since it's fried in oil on a skillet.

Or should I just stick with the tried and true... seasoning and cook it on the skillet with no oil?

It's really easy to do in oil, my BIL used to put rice crispies on them and then cook them in oil.. tasted so good. I always throw them in the oven, it's harder to mess up lol

This recipe says to use flour and some seasoning. I kind of want to use italian breadcrumbs instead, but IDK how much that'll effect the cooking.

Just go for it   You can't learn to make new things if you never try

If you do italian breadcrumbs, dip the pork chops in egg so it'll stick.

Cover them in plain flour first, then dip them in egg wash with a lil bit of milk mixed in, then cover them in the breadcrumbs

So I didn't use breadcrumbs. I was too nervous   I followed the recipe to a T. They came out alright... not much flavor. I was actually nervous about them having TOO much flavor because of how much garlic it called for. I may use a little more seasoning salt next time. But SO liked them!

This is how I grew up eating chops. It's delicious & how DH prefers them. But it's absolutely terrible for you so now I stick with baking them with some bar-b-q sauce lol
