If the job isn't necessary, I would quit. And never let her babysit again. If she can't respect your wishes for YOUR child, she should not deserve to watch him. Dad and I got into a HUGE fight once about him watching my DD1 when she was a toddler and sending her home with candy all over her face. He said "I should not have conditions to watching my granddaughter" when nobody even asked him to watch her! We had moved a half hour away and he would ask periodically if he could take her for the night/day. He wasn't doing us any favors and he thought he could just send her back completely filthy with candy all over her and in her hair. So after that fight I didn't let him keep her without me for a looong time. Then he agreed to send her home clean every time. Idk why that was so hard to accept. She rarely goes over there so I don't mind the candy because it is occasional, but how hard it is to supervise while she is eating and clean her face with a wet rag? Sheesh.
