gross but serious question lol

So my question is you know how some women get loose stools before labor to clean them out? Does that mean they won't have a bm while giving birth? I dnt remember if I had a bm with my first no one said anything about it during or after labor ? Any one have experiance with that ?

I don't, but my friends boyfriends baby mama did! Lol

I had lose stools while I was being induced..the OB at the time said it was because of all the iv fluid I was getting..No one said anything to me about either one of my deliveries...It seems that a lot of woman if they have lose stools before then they wont have bm during. Some woman also drink i think its caster oil? or a lot more juice a few days before their due date to help clean them out if they worry about bm.

we usually don't say "eww you pooped while you were pushing" haha but if you ask us, we'll tell you. it is common though. and if ya poop, we just know you were pushing good! but to answer your question, i've had people with loose stools before still poop while pushing

to you it might be embarassing, but to us, it's just an everyday thing that happens during labor....don't worry about it. we clean you up and usually you never even know we're doing it!

Idk, I was constipated the day before. I didn't poop on the table.

I feel like labor is sooo close all the cramping and back pain im so ready cant wait im just waiting for the contractions to be unbearable. I was thinking about castor oil and brought it up with my babe and he was like hell no that its not safe and when I told him some women take it he freaked out saying I was not hurting his Lil girl. it kinda got heated because he called me stupid. then later on he was telling his sister I wanted take some car liquid thingy to make baby come i stared at him and laughed he thought I said castrol oil for cars I almost peed laughing and so did he when I told him .

I had lose stools with each baby so far and still pooped while pushing. No biggie. My husband was the one who told me.

when they start pushing and tell us they cant do it and stop pushing. uh hello, 2 options, push or get cut. you got yourself into this situation, now get yourself out of it  
or when you have to pee and hold it becuase you don't want to bother us. a full bladder can hinder dilation
but my biggest pet peeve of all is when i have to "breastfeed" your baby. if you can't even hold your boob and your babies head to your boob while you are in the hospital, how is that baby gonna eat at home....i don't follow you there!

Omg I dnt think I've done that but im gonna push like crazy and I dint know that about the pee I thought it was annoying having to disconnect the machines and all that for the nurses im gonna make sure I go often I want to breastfeed I hope I can do it lol ... I think labor and delivery nurses should write a book about what they go threw nd funny stories

Ok I kind of had a question to go with this.... What do u do if ur in labor in the hospital during the time ur waiting and u have to make a bm but u already have the Cath. In?
