in starvation mode? apparently..

posted 27th Jan
So according to myfitnesspal.com I have managed to put my body into starvation mode.. Yesterday I felt like I was starving but I ate a thing of yogurt and it was all good. Today it says I have eaten 1040 calories but I am not hungry. I had a tiny bit of spaghetti with dinner (big ass salad) and that filled me up. Apparently where I am missing my calories is during lunch. I cut the bread out of it and replaced the bread with lettuce leaf instead. Maybe I should put the bread back?

Yeah, lettuce is mostly water, it has like 5 calories a head.

Try munching on 1/4c almonds, they have I think 250 cal.

Try drinking 2-3 glasses of whole milk a day too. It has good calories and good fat content.

I was actually thinking about buying some milk again. I always used to have a cup with breakfast and I will def try the almonds.

Bananas w/ pb are good healthy snacks to pair with lunch too for a calorie boost.

Try putting half an avocado on your sandwich or in your lettuce wrap too.

Anytime a body loses more than around 20lbs it goes into "starvation" mode. It slows the metabolism and boosts hunger signals.

If you're not hungry don't eat more. Listen to your body.

P.S. Eat that avocado! Avocados are one of the most nutrient dense foods available.
