Quoting ~Mommyof3girls~:" I honestly can't imagine having to put my child on an eating schedule When they're hungry let'em eat ... [snip!] ... not guaranteed until 2. I get your exhaustion, I'm living it too, but you can't force a baby to sleep if they don't want to."
Quoting P3RvYmCp3rv:" So you would rather make your kids be hungry than miss out on an hour and a half of sleep? Seriously??????? ... [snip!] ... I still get up in the middle of the night with my 2 year old and that can be for up to 3 hrs because she will be up coughing. "

Quoting twingals:" Also, just wanted to say that these people bad mouthing your strict schedule obviously don't have twins ... [snip!] ... don't have twins and have no idea what it's like! You absolutely need a schedule with twins or your life would be CRAZY!!!"

Quoting Tricia♥ [+4Boys]:" If she's up coughing that's one thing, but if my 2 year old was fine and dandy, not sick, and waking ... [snip!] ... at night, I wouldn't be going in there giving in to a bad habit of waking in the night. I teach my kids healthy sleep habits."She coughs, she gets up, she does whatever. She will sleep through the night when she is ready. Why force her to do something when it is just a few hours or even just an hour of sleep on my end. Generally my kids co-sleep anyways so ehh its not like I get great sleep ever anyways. That is what I signed up for when I had them.
Quoting Tricia♥ [+4Boys]:" And PLEASE read next time. They're not hungry."
Quoting P3RvYmCp3rv:" Even if they drink just an oz or so they could still be hungry. FFS your toddlers have SNACKS right? It isn't like a full on meal. That doesn't mean your babies aren't hungry. "
Quoting Elizabeth90:" If they aren't hungry, they might be teething. My daughter is 7 months old and whenever her teeth are ... [snip!] ... she will stay up for an hour and a half. At first I didn't realize it was her teeth until a new one would pop through."
Quoting Mama❍Moon:" Solid intake should be complementary to breast milk/formula intake. I've started early and delayed ... [snip!] ... A little bit here and there is not detrimental and can make a world of difference for the better in your little ones behaviour."
Quoting KamilaO:" Maybe theyre just thirsty? I found out my son was hot at night and was waking up thirsty. Now the temp ... [snip!] ... he will wake up. But i dont even pick him up. I give him some baby tea, mostly plain water though and he passes out right away."
