They slept through the night last night, so obviously they can.
As for a feeding schedule, they CHOSE their feeding schedule and I just make sure they eat at the same times everyday, even if they don't seem hungry yet, so I can ensure they get what they need. Every 3 hours isn't starving them ;)

If she's up coughing that's one thing, but if my 2 year old was fine and dandy, not sick, and waking up at night, I wouldn't be going in there giving in to a bad habit of waking in the night. I teach my kids healthy sleep habits.

I have to schedule, I agree. I have 2 toddlers who also need mommy to have time for them too, not being a crazy mom of twins. It works for us, they're all happy and healthy, fed and loved.

I never bad mouthed the strick schedule, but don;t assume none of us have twins. I must be imagining the 2nd little boy I change & feed & play with all day long with my son.

She coughs, she gets up, she does whatever. She will sleep through the night when she is ready. Why force her to do something when it is just a few hours or even just an hour of sleep on my end. Generally my kids co-sleep anyways so ehh its not like I get great sleep ever anyways. That is what I signed up for when I had them.

Even if they drink just an oz or so they could still be hungry. FFS your toddlers have SNACKS right? It isn't like a full on meal. That doesn't mean your babies aren't hungry.

If they aren't hungry, they might be teething. My daughter is 7 months old and whenever her teeth are bothering her, she gets up 2-3 times at night and sometimes she will stay up for an hour and a half. At first I didn't realize it was her teeth until a new one would pop through.

THANKS for the actual advice. They did cut their top teeth   And slept through last night until 6 am, ate and went back to sleep until 8:30am. It was nice and refreshing for all of us. Hopefully it lasts. I did try an ounce larger bedtime bottle also. We'll see.

Maybe theyre just thirsty? I found out my son was hot at night and was waking up thirsty. Now the temp in his room is 64 F and he loves it. Occasionally he will wake up. But i dont even pick him up. I give him some baby tea, mostly plain water though and he passes out right away.

I haven never been afraid of loosing my milk >.< I have been breastfeeding for 4 years and breastfeed two and donate milk to another. However I do know babies bodies and that solids under a year are for the experience, not nutrition. I am afraid to smurf my kids system up, not to loose my supply.

If theyre sweaty than maybe its a little too hot in their room. Just try lowering the temp. It worked for me. My kids like it colder. They never get sick or anything;)
