posted 27th Jan
hey ladies I need help! I had my little one almost a year and a half ago I still have the pregnancy weight plus a few more pounds =[

I feel gross at all times I refuse to buy bigger clothes im in the 170lbs range it scares me to be so close to 200lbs and im 5'2 I have trouble eating wise I am constantly eating do to stress so I was considering weight watchers.

So is it worth it? my money is tight but if it works i'm willing to spend it to feel happy again. please help me give me your advice or your own personal results on weight watchers! Thanks!!!

I'm doing WW online. I lost more than 10 lbs in 3 weeks.

It is amazing. It teaches you how to re-eat and how to change your lifestyle.

Right now, there is no sign up fee.

I'm not going to lie, the first week it was hard because I was so used to stuffing my face all day with junk and however much of it I wanted. But after that week I really go in the hang of it and loved it!! It really helped me make healthier and better food choices. I lost quite a bit of weight on it...but then had to stop when I ended up pregnant again...I would definitely recommend it if you are the type of person that is good about being honest with your self about portion sizes and such.

You can find most the info online and do it on your own honestly   You can find groups online for support and you can just do the points system without spending extra money on weight watches stuff ;)

I feel the constant need to eat ever since I had my son I tried counting calories on my fitness lbs but I feel like I need more weightloss tools that wasn't working for me. Im honest with myself I know I sit down and have 2-3x's the amount of the regular serving amount sadly lol

I still pay monthly and I have to be honest. It is worth it if you follow it. I don't. HOWEVER, if you get online and download the recipes and follow them, retrain yourself to eat healthy it is worth it. I intend on printing out the recipies and using them then canceling my membership. My problem isn't over eating. My issue is not eating enough regularly. I can go all day not eating a single thing. I get busy and flat forget. I will go to bed having had a glass of milk or OJ for the entire day and not think twice about it. I basically have my body in "starvation mode". That means, when I do eat anything, my body holds on to it. Then there are times I am so hungry that I will binge and not think about it. I can eat a full sandwich, yogurt, fruit, goldfish, milk, cheese and whatever I have put out for the kids to eat or choose from with them and not think twice about it. I will have consumed 1500 calories in that sitting and then eat dinner later on occasions. Totally not healthy. I have to train myself to eat regularly. Then, my body will properly burn calories. If my body would properly burn calories, that once in a while candy bar with the kids or cookie, wouldn't be a 5lb issue. lol

Nope, I'm doing it solely online.

You get a certain number of points per day which are calculated based on your weight, height, level of activity, age, etc. You are also given another group of points that you are allowed to eat through out the week. When you do activities, even something as simple as cleaning the house, you earn activity points which adds to what you are allowed to eat per week.

Each food is assigned a points value, however there are a lot of 0 points foods like fruits and vegetables. You need to make sure that you eat all of your points each day.

There are message boards and groups you can join based on the place you are in your life, the amount of weight you want to lose and different activities you participate in.

Its based on a point system..You get a certain amount of points to use each day (mine was 26) and then bonus points that are good for the week. Then everything you eat is worth a certain amount of points that you subtract from your daily point allotment. The healthier the food, the less points its worth so the more of that you can eat. When a food is less healthy it takes more points.

I had trouble with my fitness pal because I get frustrated when I have no clue how many calories is in certain meals and I stressed out so badly last time lol

My plan is to use this once I get down in weight. I don't want to have to pay every month forever. lol
